TERMS & CONDITIONS
SHYS STUDIO® EDUCATION & TRAINING
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, online courses, in-person training courses, masterclasses, digital products, downloadable materials, educational resources, and training programmes provided by Shys Studio®.
By purchasing, booking, enrolling in, accessing, or participating in any service or training provided by Shys Studio®, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. COURSE BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
In-Person Training Courses
All in-person training courses require a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in order to secure a training space.
The remaining course balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the course date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in:
- cancellation of the booking,
- forfeiture of the deposit paid,
- and removal from the course schedule.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- change of mind,
- illness,
- personal circumstances,
- travel disruption,
- scheduling conflicts,
- inability to attend,
- business circumstances,
- or failure to complete the course.
Shys Studio® reserves the right to refuse attendance where payment has not been completed in full.

2. RESCHEDULING & NON-ATTENDANCE
A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to request rescheduling of an in-person training course.
Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the course date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and require a new booking fee to secure an alternative date.
Failure to attend a booked course without prior written notice will be treated as a non-attendance booking and no refunds or transfers will be provided.
Students arriving significantly late may be refused entry where lateness would disrupt the training schedule or compromise the learning experience.

3. ONLINE COURSES & DIGITAL PRODUCTS
All online courses, masterclasses, downloadable materials, manuals, educational resources, and digital products sold by Shys Studio® are strictly non-refundable due to the digital nature of the content.
By purchasing an online course or digital product, you acknowledge and agree that:
- access to digital educational content is provided immediately,
- course materials become instantly accessible,
- and no refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or payment reversals will be issued once access has been granted.
No refunds will be provided for:
- change of mind,
- personal circumstances,
- lack of time,
- failure to complete the course,
- dissatisfaction based on personal preference,
- misunderstanding of course content,
- technical issues relating to the student’s own device or internet connection,
- failure to read the course description,
- or inability to achieve desired results.
By completing checkout, you expressly consent to immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you waive any applicable cooling-off period rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Shys Studio® reserves the right to dispute any chargeback or payment dispute claim using supporting evidence including:
- checkout acceptance records,
- login activity,
- IP access logs,
- download history,
- course progression,
- and email confirmation records.

4. COURSE ACCESS & ACCOUNT SECURITY
Access to online courses and digital content is licensed to the registered student only.
Students must not:
- share login details,
- share course access,
- distribute course links,
- reproduce training materials,
- upload content online,
- screen record lessons,
- copy manuals,
- redistribute resources,
- or allow third parties access to any educational content provided by Shys Studio®.
Any unauthorised sharing, reproduction, recording, distribution, resale, or misuse of course content may result in:
- immediate termination of access,
- certificate revocation,
- permanent restriction from future training,
- and potential legal action where necessary.
Course access is provided for the duration stated at the time of purchase. Where “lifetime access” is advertised, this refers to the reasonable operational lifetime of the course and training platform.
Shys Studio® reserves the right to update, modify, replace, suspend, or remove course content and platform access where reasonably necessary.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All course materials, training systems, manuals, videos, educational frameworks, branding, graphics, downloadable resources, written content, presentations, and teaching methods remain the exclusive intellectual property of Shys Studio®.
No material may be copied, reproduced, republished, edited, resold, taught, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Shys Studio®.

6. CERTIFICATION
Certificates will only be issued once all required assessments, coursework, case studies, practical requirements, and payment obligations have been completed to the required standard.
Shys Studio® reserves the right to withhold certification where:
- course requirements have not been met,
- practical work is deemed unsafe,
- submissions are incomplete,
- dishonest conduct or plagiarism is identified,
- or these Terms & Conditions have been breached.
Completion of a course does not guarantee business success, insurance approval, income, employment, or treatment results.

7. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Shys Studio® welcomes international students; however, students purchasing courses outside of the United Kingdom are solely responsible for ensuring that:
- qualifications are recognised within their country or region,
- insurance requirements are met,
- local licensing regulations are followed,
- and any legal requirements relating to beauty treatments or education are complied with.
Shys Studio® makes no guarantee that accreditation or certification will be accepted outside of the United Kingdom.
International students are responsible for any applicable:
- currency conversion fees,
- international transaction charges,
- taxes,
- customs charges,
- import duties,
- or local regulatory costs.

8. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
All training is provided for educational purposes only.
Students are solely responsible for:
- their practical work,
- client safety,
- patch testing,
- hygiene standards,
- insurance compliance,
- treatment application,
- business activities,
- and compliance with local laws and regulations.
Shys Studio® shall not be held liable for:
- allergic reactions,
- treatment outcomes,
- misuse of products,
- client complaints,
- business losses,
- insurance disputes,
- loss of earnings,
- or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of training provided.
Individual results may vary.

9. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Shys Studio® reserves the right to refuse service, remove course access, cancel enrolment, withhold certification, or terminate participation where:
- payment obligations are not met,
- abusive or inappropriate behaviour occurs,
- course materials are shared or misused,
- or these Terms & Conditions are breached.
No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

10. FORCE MAJEURE
Shys Studio® shall not be held liable for any delay, cancellation, interruption, or failure to perform obligations where such events arise from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- illness,
- emergencies,
- natural disasters,
- travel disruption,
- internet or platform outages,
- power failures,
- government restrictions,
- or other unforeseen events.
In such circumstances, Shys Studio® reserves the right to reschedule training, modify delivery methods, or make reasonable operational adjustments where necessary.

11. AMENDMENTS
Shys Studio® reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The latest version published on the website shall apply at the time of purchase or booking.

12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in relation to services provided by Shys Studio® shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
